Led by a nurse who used to inspect for CQC.
CareLearner was built by Manu Thomas, an Advanced Clinical Practitioner with over ten years across social care, community and acute nursing. He served as a CQC Specialist Advisor, sits on the NICE Medical Technologies Advisory Committee, and is an NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Fellow.
He stepped back from advising CQC because CareLearner grew. He kept everything he learned about how inspectors actually look at a service.
Around him is a team of senior nurses and specialists who deliver every engagement to the same method. You get a clinician who has held a caseload, run a shift and sat in a safeguarding meeting, not a checklist.

Diagnose
Mock inspection: Two days in your service, built on the 2026 CQC framework, delivered the way inspectors actually inspect. Written report within five working days, rated as CQC would rate you, action plan ordered by risk.
Registration: New service, new location, or adding nursing or TDDI. We write the application with you, build the governance evidence, and prepare your RM for the interview.
Fixed price, quoted after a free call
Build
Governance implementation: Six weeks with a named clinical lead. We set up your incident, risk, audit, training, policy and feedback system so it closes the loop.
Every incident becomes a learning, every learning becomes a competency, every competency is audited. Your RM runs it. We hand over when it works without us.
£4,000 to £6,000 one-off, by service size
Sustain
The platform, with us on call. CareLearner runs the loop every day: scheduled audits, spot checks, competency checks, incident investigation, policy updates, action plans and reminders.
Your subscription includes on-call clinical and CQC support. Ring a clinician, not a helpdesk. 150+ CPD-accredited courses included.
